Skipper has led the way in creating cutting-edge microphones and audio products for studios, musicians, and consumers. Co-founding Blue Microphones in 1995, he changed the audio landscape with innovative designs, including over 30 patents and trademarks, paving the way for a new generation of recording tools, and as President of Neat Microphones he launched the award-winning Bee and Widget mic lines. With 40+ years as an entrepreneur, recording artist and engineer he brings his knowledge, passion, and legacy of microphone design to the next generation of Neat.

David’s career includes decades as a senior executive with companies that include ADAM Audio GmbH, Guitar Center, Harman, and AKG. David played a pivotal leadership role at Guitar Center in the development of its merchandising, marketing and private label programs, as well as plans for expansion outside the U.S. As an industry consultant, he has utilized his extensive international experience in marketing, product management, importing and exporting, to build business relationships for his clients throughout the US, Europe and Asia.

A renowned audio and electrical engineer, Martins has pioneered the development of modern microphone and audio technology with decades of innovative concepts, research and technical design. Co-founding Blue Microphones in 1995, Martins created some of the most respected professional microphones in the industry, while spearheading the idea that professional quality microphone products could be produced in an accessible package for today’s digital recording mediums. Also an avid jazz historian, Martins brings his unsurpassed technological expertise to advance innovation and design for the Neat team.

As the Creative Director for Blue Microphones for over a decade, Ken was responsible for the iconic branding and visual face that helped Blue go from a small boutique start-up to an audio industry leader. Continuing in this position with Neat Microphones, he created the identity and branding for the entire Bee and Widget families of mics. He has been honored with awards for his innovative and emotive package design, and his ability to re-imagine and push the boundaries within traditional audio industry categories makes him an integral part of the Neat visual spectrum.

With more than a decade of audio engineering and manufacturing experience under his belt, Clay has been instrumental in the design, production, and quality assurance of numerous industry-leading microphone and musical instrument products. Combined with experience in acoustics, hardware UI design, and product and project management, Clay brings the expertise to take a project from the “idea phase” to the retail market. With his background as a drummer and studio engineer, Clay’s technical know-how and musician’s ear for sound make him an integral part of the Neat matrix.
